Our Character!
Wrecking Crew Volleyball Club is an affiliate of the North Texas Region-USA Volleyball Association.
Which is the National governing body for the sport of volleyball in the United States. Wrecking Crew was established
to provide athletes in the East Texas area an opportunity to participate in a competitive league. We provide quality
volleyball training at minimal cost, while igniting a passion for success. Seeing each athlete succeed is what our club
is all about as we provide a positive pathway to their bright futures. Our coaching staff is committed to making sure
that each athlete is given equal attention by building personal relationships with each player. Our coaches will guide
and advise our athletes towards their individual development.

History of Our Club
Wrecking Crew was taken over by Chaka Jackson is September of 2005. The club is based out
of the East Texas area. We have players from Carthage, Gilmer, Hallsville, Henderson, Longview, Marshall, Springhill,
and Tatum. The program starts with 12 and under and goes to 17 and under. We compete in the North Texas Region.
Our practice sites are Hallsville, Longview, and Springhill. We practice on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Since
2005 the club has grown and grown we have went from 5 teams to 13 teams in the last 3 years. Wrecking Crew is known
for its dedication and loyalty to each individaul player. Our goal is to improve each athlete that comes through Wrecking
Crew VBC.

Our Club Directors
Chaka Jackson is the head of the Wrecking Crew VBC, she has ran the club for the last six years.
Chaka is a high school graduate from Hallsville High and a college graduate from East Texas Baptist University. She
holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Physical Education and Business Adminstration major. She is currently
the assistant volleyball and basketball coach at Hallsville High School where she teaches Novanet and Adventures in Business.
Before returning to Hallsville, Chaka completed two years at Henderson High School as the Head Volleyball Coach. Chaka
is USAV certified and Cap-I certified with the North Texas Region. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching
her 2 year old baby girl and her 8month son grow up together!
Jabori Jackson is the assistant director of Wrecking
Crew. He has been apart of the club for the last 5 years either coaching or directing. Jabori is a high school
graduate from Atlantic High School in Daytona Beach, FL. He is a college graduate from East Texas Baptist University
where he was a stand out football player. Jabori holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in history.
He is currently an assistant football and basketball coach at Marshall High School where he teaches physical education.
Jabori spent two years at Henderson Middle School as a football and basketball coach. Jabori loves to watch football
and be with his family.
